CoronaChorus (aka Desert Island Discs) Activity

Corona Chorus Challenge

(aka Desert Island Discs)

Desert Island Discs is a radio programme broadcast on BBC Radio 4. It was first broadcast on the BBC Forces Programme on 29 January 1942 during WWII
Each week a guest, called a 'castaway' during the programme, is asked to choose eight recordings (usually, but not always, music), a book and a luxury item that they would take if they were to be marooned on a desert island, whilst discussing their lives and the reasons for their choices.
Still running today, More than 3,000 episodes have been recorded. In February 2019, a panel of broadcasting industry experts named Desert Island Discs the "greatest radio programme of all time".

As we have been studying Radio and the Music Industry, and we are isolated (marooned) It seems timely to do this activity. Our Radio Programme will be called the “Corona Chorus"

So here is what you need to do.

Imagine you are to be isolated (marooned) in your room (on your desert island).
To improve things, you are allowed to take 9 items with you.
They are:7 pieces of music, a book (not the Bible or the Complete Works of
Shakespeare – they are already there) and one inanimate luxury item (something which cannot be used to escape from the island.)

Once you have created your list using the table below, share it with me via SMHW. I could set up a Sharepoint group were we can all see each others picks! You could even create a playlist in soundcloud, spotify or youtube and share this with the group
